Historical background
Diatron was founded in the town of Lund in 1986 by Bertil Olsson and Anders Hansson (present owner). In 2007 another partner was added to the company board by the name Henrik Håkansson who was the marketing director for the company until 2010. The company relocated in 1991 to Svedala which is situated centrally between Sturup airport and Malmö. The company has since then gradually expanded and has once again relocated to new ware houses in 2004. In this new ware houses, which are also situated in Svedala, there are more storage opportunities especially for production.
Kuriosa
Diatron´s finders where already in the middle seventies participating in unique and innovative electronic solutions. It started with the development of the speaker MSS ( Modular Switching System ) which was designed for hi-fi stores. It was unique for its time because it used serial data to rewire between the different speakers. One of the world’s first audio amplifiers governed by microprocessor was developed thereafter, TA150. The company was registered at the same time as so was the brand AudioPro which yet today is a renowned brand in the audio business.

Resources
Diatron today has a staff force of 27 employees and has a turnover of about 36 millions. Since we are a technology and development company, our competent personnel are one of our most important resources. The tools a company disposes over is insignificant without a competent staff because the results can never be better than the knowhow of the employees.
Quality
Since Diatron is a producing company the quality work has always been the core focus of its business. In order to be able to guarantee highest possible quality to the company´s customers, documentation and traceability becomes central. The company has not yet attained any formal certificate, which is in accordance with a certain quality system. Procedures are based on ISO-9001. The production line of Diatron is subject to SEMKO which is required in order to manufacture branded equipment. We also process the knowhow to manufacture UL-certified which is at certain times required on the American market.

We are a relatively small company where each individual employee is a part of a connected group with a strong team spirit.
